Does it cost me anything to become a member?
The GetGenuine program costs you absolutely nothing! GetGenuine gives you Qantas Points for simply purchasing eligible genuine parts and paying your account on time*. As part of your GetGenuine membership, you are also entitled to a free Qantas Frequent Flyer membership. You can find the link to join on our online join page.
How do I join?
Simply visit our online join page and fill out the required details. This page will also provide you with a direct link to join the Qantas Frequent Flyer program for free!
How do I know how many Qantas Points I have earned?
Simple! GetGenuine will send you a Points Balance every month. You can also check anytime online by logging in with your member account number and password. Alternatively, you can log into your Qantas Frequent Flyer account to see how many Points you have, including those you have already used on rewards.
How long after purchasing from a participating dealer will I see the Qantas Points appear on my account?
It is a 3 month process. For example if you purchased in April and paid your account on time in May, you will receive your points in June.
How do trade customers register with additional GetGenuine Dealers
?
Easy! GetGenuine members can view a complete list of participating brands and dealers here. They then contact their local participating GetGenuine dealer and tell them they wish to receive Qantas Points through the GetGenuine program.
Will my Qantas Points ever expire?
Points expire 3 years after the date they were issued, if there is no activity within your account. This means if you haven't earned or spent points in 3 years.
What can I redeem my Qantas Points for?
You can use your Qantas Points for thousands of products in the Qantas Store including over 100 gift cards. Plus, you can also use your Points to redeem flights to over 1,000 destinations worldwide! Click here to more options including car hire, accomodation and more.
If I don’t have enough points to redeem a particular reward can I top up with money?
Yes, Qantas have a Points + Pay facility to purchase rewards available on their rewards. Visit the Qantas Store for more information.
